Very predictable result when fourth ranked Easo (7-2) defeated on the road 13th ranked Univ.Burgos (2-7) 60-52 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 37-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Univ.Burgos was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Mikel Esnaola (200-94, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. Xabier Beraza (195-99) helped adding 9 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Alvaro Lombera (202-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and guard Nacho Garcia (187-88) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Easo. They moved-up to second place in Group A-A, which they share with Cantbasket and Ardoi. Newly promoted Univ.Burgos keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost.
