There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Igualada (3-8) smashed on the road 4th placed Palma II (7-4) 93-71 on Saturday. The game without a history. Igualada led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Adria Gual (185-93) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Eduard Tejero (195-92) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Igualada's coach Jordi Marti felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. Guard Alberto Garcia (192-87) produced 19 points and forward Llorenc Llompart (198-87) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Igualada and four Palma II players scored in double figures. Igualada maintains twelfth place in Group C-B with 3-8 record. Newly promoted Palma II keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
