Very expected game when 15th ranked Albacete (5-17) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (15-7) 81-72. The guests were already 19 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 28-18 Albacete's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 81-72 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Fontedoso Carrefour especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. British William Hall (201-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Kris Davis (188-93, college: SIU Edwardsville) replied with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian-American power forward Olalekan Ajayi (213-90, college: CS Northridge) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Albacete. Albacete's coach Alfredo Galvez rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Fontedoso Carrefour have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Cambados. Albacete lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Fontedoso Carrefour's next round opponent will be Cambados (#4) at home. Albacete will play against Alcazar (#9) and hope to win that game.
