Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Igualada (10-9) outscored at home 9th ranked Muro Basquet (8-11) 95-76 on Saturday. The game without a history. Igualada led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Igualada forced 23 Muro Basquet turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Muro Basquet's players. Center Micky Garcia (206-85, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Jordi Torres (188-83) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Igualada players scored in double figures. Igualada's coach Jordi Marti used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
