Regular Season Round 22: Univ.Burgos - Ardoi 50-60

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Ardoi (14-5) defeated on the road 12th ranked Univ.Burgos (6-13) 60-50 on Sunday. Guard Ignacio Urtasun (187-80) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) chipped in 12 points during the contest. Four Ardoi players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Nacho Garcia (187-88) responded with 8 points and 11 rebounds and guard Daniel Manchon (191-98) scored 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Univ.Burgos' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ardoi moved-up to third place in Group A-A, which they share with Easo. Newly promoted Univ.Burgos keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Ardoi will face league's second-placed Cantbasket in Santander in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Univ.Burgos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Burgos to the arena Burgos.
