Bottom-ranked Zamorano managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the series of six consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Zamorano won against fifth-ranked Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila 97-85. The game was mostly controlled by Zamorano. Fontedoso Carrefour was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zamorano made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) nailed 25 points for the winning side and Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds. Zamorano's coach Saulo Hernandez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Carlos Noguerol (186-93) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for Fontedoso Carrefour in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zamorano (6-19) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Albacete. Fontedoso Carrefour lost third consecutive game.
