The game between Top Four teams took place in Albacete. host Albacete (1-0) defeated Real Canoe (0-1) 76-62. The game was mostly controlled by Albacete. Real Canoe was better in third quarter 19-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Garret Covington (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. His fellow American import forward Tyler Livingston (198, college: Mass.-Lowell) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Jose Miguel Perez (202-96) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Oscar Herrero (182-87) added 5 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Real Canoe. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Albacete's next round opponent will be Cambados (#10) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Real Canoe will play against HLA Alicante (#5) and hope to win that game.
