Regular Season Round 7: Agustinos-Leclerc - Avila 80-77

A very interesting game took place in Leon. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (4-3) to tenth ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (4-3) 80-77 in the fight for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fontedoso Carrefour. The hosts were ahead by 9 points but lost the second period ending it with a 6-point deficit before their 25-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jose Medina (185-93) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. Guard Jose Carrasco (186-94) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Agustinos-Leclerc's coach Jorge Alvarez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Venezuelan point guard Harold Cazorla (175-91, agency: Duran International) answered with 23 points and 6 assists and forward Jon Aramburu (204-92, agency: Duran International) added 17 points in the effort for Fontedoso Carrefour. Agustinos-Leclerc moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Fontedoso Carrefour.
