The game between Top Four teams took place in Granada. First ranked host CB Granada (22-6) smashed 4th ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (17-11) 91-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fontedoso Carrefour. The game without a history. CB Granada led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CB Granada outrebounded Fontedoso Carrefour 45-25 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Fontedoso Carrefour's players. The winners were led by naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) who scored that evening 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and center Ferran Torres (201-88) supported him with 17 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Four CB Granada players scored in double figures. CB Granada's coach Pablo Pin felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by swingman Guillermo Mulero (191-97, agency: Duran International) did not help to save the game for Fontedoso Carrefour. Ugandan swingman Robinson Odoch (190-89, college: Rogers St., agency: Duran International) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. CB Granada have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-6 record. Fontedoso Carrefour at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Albacete. CB Granada will play against Navarra (#7) in Pamplona in the next round where they are favorite. Fontedoso Carrefour will play at home against Moron and hopes to get back on the winning track.
