Mondragon outrebounded La Fecha 47-27 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. La Fecha was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Martin Buesa (204-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and American center Zach Kirschbaum (208-93, college: Trinity Intern.) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Mondragon players scored in double figures. Guard Jorge Martinez (185-96) responded with 18 points and 8 assists and guard Millan Lopez (185-94) scored 15 points. La Fecha's coach Roberto Gonzalez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Mondragon moved-up to fourth place in Group A-A.
