CB Guadalajara forced 20 Alcobendas turnovers. Strangely Alcobendas outrebounded CB Guadalajara 42-22 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. CB Guadalajara looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Alvaro Frutos (188-87) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Raul Lazaro (195-87) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four CB Guadalajara players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Roberto Morentin (204-81, college: Cent.Florida) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and guard Gabriel Diaz-Morera (197-89) added 22 points and 4 assists respectively. Alcobendas' coach Jose Antonio Ramirez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for CB Guadalajara. They maintain fifth place in Group B with 11-9 record, which they share with Quintanar. Loser Alcobendas keeps the third position with six games lost. CB Guadalajara will face Aridane (#13) in Los Llanos in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alcobendas will play at home against Rivas (#8) and hope to win that game.
