Spain Regular Season Round 21: Un.Oviedo - Chantada 43-55 Date: February 16, 2019 There was no surprise when 10th ranked Un.Oviedo (6-11) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Chantada (12-5) 55-43 on Saturday. Chantada outrebounded Un.Oviedo 45-29 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Filip Knezevic (205-94) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Daniel Manchon (193-98) chipped in 11 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Chantada's coach Alberto Fafian used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) who recorded 18 points and swingman Eduardo Lada (193-98) added 2 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Chantada moved-up to second place in Group A-B, which they share with Culleredo and Innova Chef. Un.Oviedo lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Chantada will face PBB (#8) in Porrino in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Un.Oviedo will play on the road against Naron and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
