Spain Regular Season Round 21: Pozuelo - Zentro Basket 88-74 Date: February 16, 2019 There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Zentro Basket (8-13) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Pozuelo (8-12) 88-74 on Saturday. Pozuelo shot 62.1 percent from the field. Pozuelo had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Pozuelo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Alberto Arias (188-89) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Borja Lopez (187-93) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Senegalese center Gana Ndiaye (208-88) who recorded 14 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Guillermo Bastante (201-98) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pozuelo moved-up to eleventh place in Group B. Zentro Basket lost their fifth game in a row. Zentro Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Pozuelo will face higher ranked Tenerife Naut. (#3) in Santa Cruz de Ten. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
