No shocking result in a game when second ranked Barca 2 (10-2) crushed 14th ranked Helios (1-11) in Zaragoza 76-39 on Sunday. Barca 2 held Helios to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Helios 46-34 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Martin Iglesias (202-2004, agency: BIG) nailed 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Italian forward Dame Sarr (196-2006) accounted for 17 points. Jorge Casado (-2003) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Alejandro Abad (-2002) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Helios in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Barca 2 keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Helios lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with La Flecha and Valladolid. Barca 2 will meet at home Igualada (#13) in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
