Regular Season Round 1: Boet Mataro - Coruna 66-52

No shocking result in a game in Barcelona where Maresme won against Coruna 66-52 on Saturday. Forward Anna Gamarra (190-2001, college: Ball St.) fired 18 points for the winners. Sonia Sarda chipped in 15 points. Forward Andrea Perez (178-1993) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian guard Nevena Dimitrijevic (160-2000, college: SFC) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Maresme will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Coruna will play against GEIG and hope to win that game.
