Regular Season Round 3: Andorra - Coruna 112-87

MoraBanc Andorra used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Coruna 112-87 on Saturday night. Andorra dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Coruna's 22. It was an exceptional evening for Greek forward Nikos Chougkaz (208-2000, college: NSU) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Jerrick Harding (185-1998, college: Weber St.) accounted for 28 points for the winning side. American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-1994, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 16 points and 7 assists and Georgian Beqa Burjanadze (201-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Coruna in the defeat. Four Andorra and five Coruna players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MoraBanc Andorra will meet Valencia (#7) on the road in the next round. Coruna will play against Unicaja and hope to win that game.
