There was a surprise result when fourteenth rankedHelios (4-10) rolled over higher ranked Granollers (6-8) in Zaragoza 68-39 on Saturday. Helios held Granollers to an opponent 21.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Granollers 48-30 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Helios looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Granollers ' players. British center Haydn Ling (212-2002) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Roberto Perez (192-1993) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even 9 points by forward Joel Juarez (195-2002, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Granollers . Carles Homs (196-1996) added 9 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Helios moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 9 other teams. Granollers at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with 8 other teams.
