There was no surprise when 12th rankedTerralfas (4-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Plasencia (11-4) 66-53 on Saturday. Plasencia outrebounded Terralfas 39-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. American forward Tessa Brugler (185, college: Drexel) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and Ana Perez (-2001) chipped in 15 points. Four Plasencia players scored in double figures. Neramou Jeng responded with 21 points and Argentinian point guard Ariana Rugna (163-2001) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Terralfas' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Plasencia maintains fifth place with 11-4 record. Newly promoted Terralfas keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Valladolid.
