Regular Season Round 18: Navas - Es Castell 91-81

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Es Castell (9-8) was defeated on the road by first ranked Navas (23-2) 91-81 on Sunday. Navas made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard David Yuste (186-1994) who scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Jaume Zanca (195-1997) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Josep Gascon (200-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and guard Carlos Gil (185-1993) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Five Navas and four Es Castell players scored in double figures. Navas have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-2 record. Loser Es Castell keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Dos Hermanas and Canarias. Navas will meet at home league's leader Coria in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
