There was no surprise when 10th rankedAndujar SKA (6-13) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Motril (9-7) 92-76 on Saturday. Motril dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Andujar SKA 's 30 and made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Andujar SKA 47-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Argentinian guard Agustin Bualo (182-1995) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Cape Verdean power forward Ailton Lopes (200-1995) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Motril's coach Eugenio Llera used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Swedish guard Patrick Mendes (196-1995, college: BHSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Arturo Seara added 22 points respectively. Newly promoted Motril maintains sixth place with 9-7 record. Andujar SKA lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Jorge Juan.
