There was a minor upset when 10th rankedUnicaja-Andalucia (7-15) lost to thirteenth ranked Novaschool (6-15) in Malaga 85-90 on Saturday. Novaschool forced 19 Unicaja-Andalucia turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Oscar Diaz (190-2002) who led the winners and scored 19 points. American Alex Jackson (200-1984, college: UMSL) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Jackson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Mali center Mamadou Nimaga (206-2007) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Manuel Trujillo (192-2007) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Unicaja-Andalucia in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Novaschool moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Oh!Tels ULB and Real Murcia. Unicaja-Andalucia lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Mataro Parc.
