There was no surprise in Azkoitia where 16th rankedArxil (1-26) was outplayed by seventh ranked ISB (15-12) 76-55 on Saturday. ISB outrebounded Arxil 39-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Sara Iparragirre (173-1998) who scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Juana Molina-Prados (174-1991) chipped in 5 points and 9 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Portuguese point guard Raquel Laneiro (171-2000) who recorded 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Nerea Liste (-2003) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for ISB . Newly promoted ISB maintains seventh place with 15-12 record. Arxil lost their twenty fourth game in a row. Arxil at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay dead last with 26 lost games. ISB will meet at home Lima-Horta (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Arxil will play against Barakaldo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
