There was a small surprise when sixth rankedIgualada (14-11) defeated at home 4th placed Manresa B (18-7) 87-78 on Saturday. Igualada dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Manresa B 's 28 and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Arnau Cumelles (198-2000) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Miquel Aliaga (189-1999) chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Igualada's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Ferran Torreblanca (-2005) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Jan Pumarola (204-2006) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds.
