Very predictable result in Malaga where second rankedEstepona (23-4) beat 14th ranked NBF Castello (7-20) 70-59 on Saturday. Estepona dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to NBF Castello 's 24. They outrebounded NBF Castello 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Ruth Sherrill (188-1994, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds and Slovenian guard Sara Vujacic (180-1996, college: Maryland) who added 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Estepona's coach Francis Tome used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Laura Campos (-2001) responded with 16 points and Uruguayan point guard Florencia Niski (165-2002) scored 17 points. Estepona have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 23-4 record behind leader Leganes. NBF Castello lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with 20 games lost.
