Very expected game in Valencia where 13th rankedMorvedre (2-21) was defeated by second ranked Torrent (20-1) 93-77 on Saturday. Torrent outrebounded Morvedre 51-39 including 36 on the defensive glass. Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-2001) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Pablo Lopez (193-2003) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Lithuanian swingman Nedas Krisciunas (193-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Latvian guard Lauris Plavenieks (184-2002) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Five Torrent and four Morvedre players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Torrent have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain second place with 20-1 record behind leader LBC Cocinas. Newly promoted Morvedre keeps the thirteenth position with 21 games lost.
