Everything went according to plan when third rankedAlginet (19-3) outplayed at home 10th ranked Carolinas (6-16) 84-63 on Saturday. Alginet forced 19 Carolinas turnovers. Victor Pelufo (-2003) notched 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Emilio Llacer (-2006) supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Alginet players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 4 assists by guard Anxo Iglesias (185-2003) did not help to save the game for Carolinas . Center Gines Palazon (207-2002) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alginet have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Carolinas lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 16 games lost.
