Regular Season Round 2: Granollers - Universitat Vic 68-55

There was no surprise when Universitat Vic was defeated on the road by Granollers 68-55 on Saturday. Strangely Universitat Vic outrebounded Granollers 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. scored 16 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 15 points during the contest. The former international center Nacho Llovet (202-1991) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and Alex Riera scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Granollers will meet SESE in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Universitat Vic will play against Tecla Sala and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
