There was no surprise when 12th rankedISB (3-5) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Melilla (6-2) 75-62 on Wednesday. Melilla outrebounded ISB 44-27 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Argentinian point guard Macarena DUrso (169-1991) who led her team to a victory scoring 12 points and 4 assists. point guard Clara Caceres (167-1997) helped adding 11 points. At the losing side Portuguese point guard Ines Vieira (170-2003, college: Utah) responded with 12 points and French forward Elodie Lalotte (185, college: Boise St.) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Melilla maintains fourth place with 6-2 record. ISB lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost.
