There was a small surprise in S'Arenal where ninth rankedPalma Fibwi (4-3) defeated 6th ranked Ourense (4-3) 83-76 on Sunday. Strangely Ourense outrebounded Palma Fibwi 38-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Italian-Uruguayan point guard Lucas Capalbo (175-2000, college: Odessa JC) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists. Cuban center Pedro Bombino (206-2000) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Palma Fibwi players scored in double figures. American guard Gabe Kalscheur (193-1999, college: Iowa St.) produced 22 points and American-Nigerian Okanu Kingsley (202, college: GVSU, agency: Helping Ballers) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Palma Fibwi moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ourense and Fuenlabrada.
