There was no surprise when 12th rankedEstudiantes (5-11) was outplayed on the road by ninth ranked Ferrol (8-8) 74-54 on Saturday. Ferrol outrebounded Estudiantes 49-36 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Dalayah Daniels (193, college: Washington) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The other American import swingman Moira Joiner (178-2000, college: Michigan St.) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. Ferrol's coach Lino Lopez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Nigerian center Nneka Ezeigbo (188-1998, college: RMU) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and German power forward Frieda Buehner (186-2004, college: Florida) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side.
