No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedBonita (7-5) beat 11th ranked Genero (4-8) in Las Palmas 96-81 on Sunday. Bonita outrebounded Genero 42-29 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bonita looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Serbian center Marta Vulovic (198-2000) nailed 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and forward Tania Gonzalez (179-1999) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds. Bonita's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Yaiza Garcia (190-1988) came up with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Naroa Zabala (175-2003) added 19 points respectively for Genero in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bonita . They moved-up to sixth place. Genero lost their fifth game in a row.
