Very important is a road loss of second rankedDist.Olimpico (14-5) against fifth ranked Alcorcon (13-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Dist.Olimpico was defeated by Alcorcon in Alcorcon 67-57 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dist.Olimpico. It was a great evening for point guard Marta Blanco (170-2004) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points. Lithuanian power forward Dovile Miliauskaite (187-1989, college: Towson) helped adding 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. At the losing side Ana Picos responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and forward Vega Lopez (188-2003, college: Iona, agency: DC Sports) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcorcon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Picken Claret. Dist.Olimpico at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with GDKO Bizkaia.
