There was a surprise result when ninth rankedBoet Mataro (11-14) beat higher ranked Sanfer (13-12) in Barcelona 69-59 on Saturday. Forward Joana Navarro (182-2003, agency: Promo Sport ID) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Argentinian forward Maria Fux (183-2000, college: St.Peter's) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Boet Mataro's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cristina Ugochukwu came up with 8 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Esther Sevilla (188, college: Marian, IN) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Sanfer in the defeat. Boet Mataro maintains ninth place with 11-14 record. Loser Sanfer dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with UE Mataro and Mostoles.
