Lliria players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Valladolid was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Zambian center Douglas Kandulu (220-1996) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and point guard Alonso Meana (180-2000, college: UIS) accounted for 17 points and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Five Lliria players scored in double figures. Inaki Ordonez (207-2003) came up with 9 points and 4 assists and guard Pablo Marin (190-2002) added 5 points and 8 assists respectively for Valladolid in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
