Valencia looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-1992) scored 14 points to lead the charge for the winners and international center Awa Fam Thiam (192-2006) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Mali Maimouna Haidara (181-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Lydia Giomi (198-1997, college: Oregon) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Ensino players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
