Zaragoza dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Estepona's 22. They outrebounded Estepona 43-21 including a 36-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zaragoza players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Estepona's players. French center Aminata Gueye (193-2002) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Laia Flores (171-1996, college: S.Florida) supported her with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Zaragoza players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by Mozambican power forward Leia Dongue (185-1991) did not help to save the game for Estepona.
