Burgos U22 dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Canarias' 28. It was a very good performance for Uruguayan Joaquin Taboada (190-2007) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Mali center Amadou Traore (204-2007) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Argentinian guard Dylan Bordon (190-2004) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and French Louis Riga (203-2005) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Canarias. Five Canarias players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
