Argentinian-Italian point guard Silvano Merlo (193-2002) stepped up and scored 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and American forward Nick Reid (201-2002, college: Upper Iowa) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side guard Roger Fabrega (186-2005) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and British-Nigerian guard Sesan Russell (188-1999, college: Florida Tech, agency: Helping Ballers) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
