Basketligan top team - Boras Basket (6-1) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat eighth ranked KFUM Jamtland (1-5) 88-81. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KFUM Jamtland won third quarter 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a quality performance of point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 assists and Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) who added 18 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Guard Tyler Peters (196-91, college: Wheaton, IL, agency: Warren Sports International) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and center Trevor Gruis (208-91, college: S.Dakota) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Boras Basket maintains first position with 6-1 record. KFUM Jamtland lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with five games lost. Boras Basket are looking forward to face Norrkoping Dolphins (#5) in Norrkoping in the next round. KFUM Jamtland will play on the road against the league's second-placed Sodertalje Kings (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
