Quarter-Finals Round 3: Sodertalje - Malbas 78-71

Sodertalje defeated Malbas to sweep the quarterfinal series. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. It was a quality performance for Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Sodertalje Kings' coach Vedran Bosnic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international center Carl Engstrom (216-91, college: Alabama) came up with 21 points and 9 rebounds and forward Fredrik Larsson (201-93) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Malbas in the defeat.
