Second Stage Round 6: RIG Mark - Eskilstuna 42-68

Very expected game in Kinna where 6th ranked RIG Mark (3-9) was rolled over by second ranked Eskilstuna (11-1) 68-42 on Saturday. The game without a history. Eskilstuna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RIG Mark to just 5 points in first quarter. Eskilstuna held RIG Mark to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Eskilstuna forced 21 RIG Mark turnovers. The best player for the winners was British-Cameroonian forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 19 rebounds. Canadian guard Felix Adjei (190, college: Seneca) chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (189-99) who recorded 15 points and center Carl-Oskar Falk (202-99) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eskilstuna have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of BEHS forts leader, which they share with IK Eos. Loser RIG Mark keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Eskilstuna will face league's leader IK Eos in Lund in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. RIG Mark will play on the road against Talje Knights (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
