Boras shocked Jamtland on the road to take 1-0 advantage. The game was mostly controlled by Boras Basket. KFUM Jamtland was better in second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boras Basket had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. The former international point guard Andreas Person (190-91) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Boras Basket's coach Henrik Svensson felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Brandon Taylor (201-94, college: Penn St., agency: 3Eye) answered with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian guard Toni Prostran (182-91) added 14 points in the effort for KFUM Jamtland.
