There was a minor upset when their close opponentAIK Basket (6-13) lost to twelfth ranked IK Eos (6-11) in Lund 89-94 on Saturday. IK Eos forced 19 AIK Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Icelandic guard Unnsteinn Karason (185-2001) nailed 28 points and 5 assists for the winning side and guard Elias Nilsson (188-2003) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Noah Kelly (199-1997) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and forward Alexandar Petrovic (197-1993) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for AIK Basket in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for IK Eos . They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with KFUM Black. and Huddinge. Loser AIK Basket keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost.
