BC Lulea outrebounded Nassjo 45-25 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. BC Lulea shot the lights out from three nailing 20 long-distance shots on high 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American guard DeMonte Buckingham (193-1997, college: UNCG) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Gustav Hansson (185-1995) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists during the contest. BC Lulea's coach Hakan Larsson felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Abdou Medjedoub (198-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Charles Barton (193-1992, college: Oregon St.) scored 20 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
