There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Ockelbo (4-5) defeated at home higher ranked Trelleborg (5-6) 94-79 on Saturday. Ockelbo outrebounded Trelleborg 46-24 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ockelbo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Teodor Manfredsson who scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. Edvin Stark chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 assists. Five Ockelbo players scored in double figures. Ibbe Klintman produced 32 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Gambian swingman Mustafa Dibba (196-1995) added 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Ockelbo moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Trelleborg dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with IK Eos. Ockelbo will meet higher ranked Sollentuna (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Trelleborg will play against Huddinge (#5) and hope to secure a win.
