Regular Season Round 13: Skuru - Jamtland 2 94-88

There was an upset when higher ranked Jamtland 2 (6-8) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Skuru (2-11) 94-88 on Saturday. Edwin Soamo fired a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Erik Storm chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Skuru's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Jonatan Boberg produced 19 points and 9 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Yoel Weldegergis added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Jamtland 2 players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Skuru maintains fourteenth place with 2-11 record. Loser Jamtland 2 dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Skuru will meet higher ranked Hammarby (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jamtland 2 will play against Lidingo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
