Regular Season Round 14: Hammarby - Skuru 73-75

There was an upset in Stockholm where higher ranked Hammarby (5-8) was edged by thirteenth ranked Skuru (3-12) 75-73 on Sunday. Skuru forced 19 Hammarby turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Lucas Mazzanti scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Lukas Trygger chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Skuru's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Vedran Milicevic responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and Eddie Brokvist scored 18 points. Newly promoted Skuru maintains thirteenth position with 3-12 record. Loser Hammarby dropped to the ninth place with eight games lost. They share the position with SBBK. Skuru will meet at home higher ranked Umea 2 (#12) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hammarby will have a break next round.
