Very predictable result when fourth rankedHogsbo (11-4) beat on the road 12th ranked Visby (2-15) 82-67 on Saturday. Hogsbo forced 21 Visby turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international guard Astrid Sandberg (180-2003) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Cecilia Holmberg (188, college: Pacific) helped adding 18 points. Hogsbo's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side Czech point guard Nela Netkova (194-2004) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Louise Falk (179-1994) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Hogsbo . They moved-up to third place. Visby lost their fifth game in a row.
