Regular Season Round 27: AIK Basket - Malbas 69-66

The most exciting game of round 27 in the Damligan took place in Solna. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th rankedMalbas (12-11) to fifth ranked AIK Basket (15-8) 69-66 on Saturday evening. AIK Basket made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American point guard Tiffany Brown (168-1986, college: Georgia South) who led her team to a victory with 24 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Guard Ellen Hahne (180-1999, college: Albany) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four AIK Basket players scored in double figures. AIK Basket's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Mykel Parham (185-2000, college: VCU) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and forward Maja Leidefors (183-2000) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Malbas. AIK Basket moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ostersund. Newly promoted Malbas keep the eighth position with 11 games lost.
