Regular Season Round 9: Dacin Tigers - Bank of Taiwan 87-69

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Dacin Tigers (8-12) beat bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (4-17) 87-69 on Saturday. The game without a history. Dacin Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Bank of Taiwan's 30. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 57-32 including a 42-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Nigerian-American power forward Reggie Okosa (208-80, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 21 rebounds and 5 assists. International point guard Kuan-Lun Lin (187-84) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Forward Kuo-Wei Chen (190-84) answered with 17 points and forward Hsiao-Wen Chuan (190-83) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Dacin Tigers went down to sixth position due to points difference. Bank of Taiwan lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Dacin Tigers will face higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bank of Taiwan will play against Yulon Luxgen and hope to win that game.
